Welcome to my blog!

First post! Welcome, visitor, to my newly established blog! As a budding field primatologist, I started this mostly to chronicle my life in the field, both personal and professional, but also to write about general topics that interest me. At present, I’m writing this from my home in New Jersey, far from the warm tropical environments that nearly all primates inhabit. I am wrapping up my fourth and final year at New York University and will soon begin my Ph.D. work in biological anthropology at Washington University in St. Louis. I’m not certain if I will be doing fieldwork in the near future–it would be this summer, at the earliest–but I hope to and will keep updating as I learn more.
